1. Every space will trend toward chaos or entropy if not tended to regularly. Our goal is to help you decide what’s important to keep, and then create a maintenance system that works for you.

    2. You are the expert on your home and how you (and any humans and creatures you share it with) use the space.

    3. We prefer the term “home curation” instead of “decluttering”. For example: clutter is mail and shoes in the wrong place. Going through treasures from your grandparents isn’t clutter.

    4. Home curation and new systems are a process. What created your current situation likely took time, and it will take time to rethink, iterate, and implement changes.

    5. We don’t prescribe to one specific organization system, because every home is unique!

    6. Peace and usability are our priorities. Making a space pretty comes later, after we’re sure a system is sustainable for you.

  • We offer solutions for every area of your home, and a variety of situations, including downsizing, moving, and renovations. Please see our Services page for a more complete list - and let’s chat about your project if you have a unique circumstance!

  • Collaborative, thoughtful, and hopefully fun! We love this process and want you to enjoy it too. We bring lots of energy, music, and laughter into your home and our goal is to leave it better.

  • We find the right location, and do the legwork for you!

We work with locations like local nonprofit thrift stores, shelters, recycling centers, e-recycling events, household hazardous waste disposal…and yes, sometimes the dump. (Lovely people work there!)

And if it’s important, selling items locally or listing them on Freecycle (labor charges apply). We also love to learn about new organizations, and take items to places that matter to you!

  • Our on-site rate as of January 2026 is $40 per hour; shopping, donation/trash dropoff, and other off-site activities are $30 per hour. We do not charge for travel within a 45 minute drive of Chantilly, VA. You will be provided with a client contract to sign which outlines our policies prior to work beginning.

  • We’ll start with a free 30 minute consultation, where can get a better picture of the project, answer questions, and talk through a plan. Then we’ll schedule dates to do the work!
